The Foundation
The Health Sciences Technology Park Foundation was established in 1997 as an instrument to coordinate, manage and promote the concept of a biosanitary technopolis that would eventually become the Health Sciences Technology Park.
Today, the HSTP Foundation is an Andalusian public sector foundation which is made up of the following institutions: the University of Granada, the Regional Ministry of the Economy and Knowledge, the Regional Ministry of Employment, Enterprise and Trade, the Regional Ministry of Health, the Regional Ministry of Infrastructure and Housing, the Granada City Council, the Town Council of Armilla, the Provincial Council of Granada, the Town Council of Ogíjares, BMN-CajaGranada, Caja Rural de Granada, the Higher Scientific Research Council (collaborating member), the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Granada (collaborating member) and the Business Confederation of Granada (collaborating member).
A governing board comprising leading institutions in the fields of scientific and technological development, enterprise and the consolidation of quality employment, the training of highly qualified professionals, economic promotion and the improvement of the quality of life of the public.

Mission
To be the driver of technological innovation and development, constituting an axis for the generation of wealth for the province of Granada and Andalusia, encouraging the transfer of knowledge between the University, research centres and business.
Vision
To consolidate the Health Sciences Technology Park as a national and international benchmark for excellence in research, for the promotion of business innovation and cutting-edge technological development applied to all areas of the Life and Health Sciences.
Values
The fundamental values of the Health Sciences Technology Park are excellence, responsibility, equity, sustainability, social impact, innovation and development.
