ACCESS TO KNOWLEDGE Pushing forward your innovative business ideas
CaixaImpulse Validate 
Deadline: March 1st 2021 at 14:00 CET
For researchers from universities, hospitals or non-governmental organizations working in an innovative biomedical research project who are looking to transfer their asset through a spin-off or a licensing agreement.
Incorporated start-ups are not eligible.
Bootcamps
For students, researchers, patients, healthcare professionals & early-stage start-ups working on innovative ideas that want to validate their business idea and network with investors and end-users from 3 or more European markets.
Women Entrepreneurship Bootcamp Deadline: March 16th 2021 at 23:59 CET
Connects high growth women-led and co-led start-ups, focused on medical technology and already generating revenue that are looking for € 500k – 5M, to an unparalleled network of investors and mentors to support your rapid growth. Training will focus on understanding and leveraging the benefits of founder diversity to pitch, raise funds and plan growth more effectively.

Reactor Medical Imaging Bootcamp Deadline: March 16th 2021 at 23:59 CET
Targeting early and growth-stage Medtech start-ups, that have a working MVP and offer innovative solutions in the fields of Medical Institution Workflow and Process Optimization or Medical Imaging and Diagnostic.

Patient Innovation Bootcamp Deadline: June 15th 2021 at 23:59 CET
For teams that include at least one patient and/or informal caregiver who have developed an innovative solution to deal with a limitation related to the personal health condition that they face and have a proof of concept or proof of feasibility.

Provides early-stage medtech start-ups that have an innovative solutuion between TRL 2-4 with a clear and valid proof of concept that gets them ready to launch their business in a European market.

Innovation and Impact Bootcamp Deadline: June 15th 2021 at 23:59 CET
For early and growth-stage European medtech entrepreneurs with at least TRL 3 and an analytically or experimentally demonstrated hardware proof of concept.
EIT Jumpstarter
Deadline: April16th 2021 at 23:59 CET
Training programme for teams of entrepreneurs, scientists and PhD or Master students that have an innovative idea in healthcare and would like to define a Business Plan and get ready to present it in front of investors. Up to € 10k in prize money for the best project.
Innostars Awards
Deadline: March 27th 2021 at 23:59 CET
Programme for start-ups from Principado de Asturias, Castilla y León, Castilla la Mancha, Extremadura, Illes Balears, Andalucía, Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta, Ciudad Autónoma de Melilla and Canarias regions that already have a product or MVP which is not on the market yet (no income). The programme provides € 25k for training and mentoring and the possibility to compete for additional € 25k for the launch of your product or services. You can check application guidelines here.
Mentoring & Coaching Network

ACCESS TO STAKEHOLDERS Bringing your innovations closer to the market
Start-ups Meet Pharma
Deadline: March 16th 2021 at 23:59 CET
For start-ups with a functioning product or prototype solution that has already entered the market or is about to do so and provides an answer to one of the following challenges set by pharma partners:
Amgen: Facilitate patients’ identification & screening in oncology or hematology clinical trials.
AstraZeneca: Integrated care for Chronic Kidney Disease patients. Focus on early diagnosis and prevention of life-threatening complications.
Merck: Digital remote monitoring and support solutions for patients living with Multiple Sclerosis.
Takeda: Digital and personalised health for adult Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
Abbott: Tools for monitoring loss of muscle, strength and/or physical function, to manage sarcopenia and frailty in the elderly.
Start-ups Meet Healthcare Providers Deadline: June 15th 2021 at 23:59 CET
For start-ups with a functioning product or prototype solution that has already entered the market or is about to do so and provides an answer to challenges set by European healthcare providers, such as public/private hospitals, municipal health authorities or health insurance companies.
Catapult
Deadline: March 16th 2021 at 23:59 CET
Competition and training programme to secure investment rounds for mature start-ups looking for a Seed or Series A funding of a minimum of € 500k, that have a self-valuation over € 1M , and have collected at least € 500k funding (private or public) OR had at least € 500k of revenue in the last year. In the application form you have to include a signed Letter of Confirmation from an EIT Health Partner or staff.
Gold Track
Deadline: May 3rd 2021 at 23:59 CET
World class mentorship programme that provides unrivalled access to inspiring leaders for scale-ups that operate in healthcare/ life sciences, such as therapeutics, diagnostics, or platform technologies, and have the ambition to expand their international market reach globally.

Investor Network

Connects health-oriented investors from over 17 countries and promising start-ups seeking more than € 500k, through cross-border financing and co-investments. Eligible start-ups must have a minimum seed stage with public grants and have already raised to a significant level. You can check application guidelines here.
Crowdfunding
Deadline: Ongoing
The first pan-European venture capital platform exclusively dedicated to fostering and funding innovations in the health sector. Open for mature start-ups/scale-ups in the areas of Biotech, Medtech and Digital Health looking to raise € 500k – 2M.
Venture Centre of Excellence
Deadline: Ongoing
Open Innovation programme in collaboration with the EIF for European Life Science start-ups looking to increase their visibility towards international investors as they seek to complete Series A, B and up to pre-IPO fundraising rounds.
