San Cecilio Clinical Hospital
Its modern facilities include 700 rooms, 26 operating rooms, 132 consultation rooms and a heliport on the roof. With an innovative design and flexible environment, it improves the population’s health through the provision of specialized, highly qualified and complex healthcare services. It specializes in Nuclear Medicine, Vascular Surgery, Cardiology, Digestive System, Pneumonia, Oncology, Radiotherapy, Biotechnology, Pathological Anatomy and Radiodiagnosis.
Legal Medicine Institute of Granada
This Institute houses the forensic pathology service, the forensic medical clinic service, the forensic laboratory, the headquarters of the teaching and research committee and the management and administration services. In addition, it is home to a service in collaboration with the National Institute of Toxicology, a benchmark for the study and laboratory clinic in the Andalusian Community, and the Center for Excellence in Forensic Research of Andalusia, which unifies and promotes scientific study and specialized training in forensic sciences in the Andalusian community.
Public Health Emergency Companies
The CMAT is home to the Public Health Emergency Company (EPES), where the largest and best equipped Emergency Coordination Center (CUU) in Andalusia has been built. This center is designed as a high-availability environment, able to remain up and running 24 hours a day, even in the event of component failure. This is also the location of the 061 provincial service for Granada, which coordinates health emergencies.
